Mom and Dad Cockrell just headed out from visiting with us. We got to have them for a whole week and loved it. Raif was really excited to get grandpa up in the morning and have him read him books.
My parents have been called out to Oklahoma where they are planning to be for TWO months. This time Brenda will run the rentals, I'll do BZ work (with Alma running the truck) and Isabella running the farm. They will leave in the middle of June.
We finally got our garden in (thanks to Mom and Dad Cockrell's help) and can't wait for something to start growing. I did plant a large cherry tomato plant that should be producing soon but I kind of think that may be cheating:)
I'm also putting together a large activity for the YW to do while they are doing the temple celebration. I'll try to post the general idea of it later

Yes, Mom and Dad sure enjoyed their visit with you. I'm so glad Raif and Dad bonded. Dominic is so head over heels for Grandma Keenie that it's only fair Dad have a grandbaby that feels the same for him. : ) Dad is so cute with the little kids anyway - this big, tall man with this teeny tiny person. We all wish you were closer, but hey, you give us a chance to get away from Wyoming for a change. Love and miss you!

What fun we had at your house!! I want you to know that I slept in MY OWN BED and got a headache!:-) Raif is so much fun! Maybe I need to get him the Tarzan Disney DVD, so he can identify with another great screamer-shouter-yodeler-whatever Tarzan is. I sure enjoyed going around with you and your Mom. Thanks for including me. Family Home Evening was also an interesting learning experience in the Pearl of
Great Price. But it was talking with your parents, Angela, that was best, as well as getting to see them one last time, when they ate with us. Have they left yet? You MUST tell us how the garden is doing.
I love your house! Even though it is smaller than our house, it is still so much more spacious!! Every room--except the bathroom--is bigger than ours. With your special touch, you will continue to make your house a home. We're both anxious to hear about the ultrasound, so pleaqse let us know.
Carolyn needs everyone's support. Roger has lost his job. She's looking for extra jobs. Please call them once in awhile, Please give Raif a big hug from Grandma and Grandpa Cockrell. We love you all. Ralph and Kathleen
Dennis, I was so glad to see where you worked--except for the fact that I looked like something the cat drug in!When we got home, we found that someone had mowed our lawn for us! Have to bake a pie or something. You've got such wonderful ideas. Just in case--don't let your father make you feel inadequate. There may be some things he knows that you don't, but your ideas are right on. Any mistakes--you'll learn from them, and fix it. Anyway, I was glad to be with you and Angela and Raif. It was very, very hard to leave.
Went to Casper for the tests. The nuclear stress test was really tough. Took about 6 1/2 hours and then had an ultrasound of my heart. I actually went to bed at 7 pm last night!! Will let you know the results. Love to you all, MOM
It is always fun to have grandma and grandpa visit and Dennis's parents are GREAT! I can just see Ralph with Raif -- too cute.
Good luck with the YW thing. I'd love to see pictures of what you did!
